SF6 Ring Main Unit
The ring network refers to the ring power distribution network, that is, the power supply mainline forms a closed-loop, and the power supply supplies power to the ring main line and then distributes power all the way from the mainline through the high-voltage switch. The advantage of this is that each power distribution branch can take power from its left mainline and its right mainline. When the left mainline fails, it continues to receive power from the right mainline, and when the right mainline fails, it continues to receive power from the left mainline. In this way, even though the main power supply is the single-circuit power supply, However, from each distribution branch, the benefits similar to the dual power supply are obtained, thereby improving the reliability of the power supply.
